At the time, I wrote, “Depending on what happens in free agency with Jae Crowder and Derrick Jones Jr., and knowing a successor for Andre Iguodala will be needed sooner rather than later, a case certainly can be made for the senior shooter and defender out of Texas Christian.” But for the sake of transparency, I also had Precious Achiuwa, the Heat’s selection at No. 20, going at No. 14 in that draft to the Celtics, so it’s not as if there wasn’t respect for Precious.
